Noida International Airport (Jewar) opens commercial operations in 2026; the Film City is under construction; the Pod Taxi corridor was announced; the metro extension toward the airport is in DPR stage. Is YEIDA actually a good investment, or is it hype?

It's been a documented story for 6 years, not hype. YEIDA plot transacted prices have grown 7–14% YoY since 2020. The Jewar Airport commercial-operations milestone in 2026 + the Film City announcement + the Pod Taxi corridor are real infrastructure triggers, not speculation. Registered plot resale: 30–45 days from token to registry, assuming the seller's documentation is clean. YEIDA fresh allotments (auction or scheme): 60–120 days because of authority processing. Today: 90–110 min to Connaught Place via Yamuna Expressway + DND. By end of 2026: Jewar Airport opens (so domestic Delhi connectivity matters less for fly-in buyers); metro extension to the airport sector by 2028–2029; the proposed Faridabad-Jewar Expressway shortens the western approach. The next 5 years are when the corridor's connectivity premium realises.
