YEIDA requires allottees to complete construction within roughly three years of possession. The authority has extended the deadline to 31 December 2026 — a one-time reprieve benefiting 10,000+ allottees who hadn't yet built. Missing it can mean escalating extension charges, so if you haven't started, now is the time.
